What Is Cant Angle Option?
Cant Angle is the relation of the slide on the vertical plane. At 0 Cant Angle, the slide of the weapon is straight up and down. 10 and 15 degrees of Cant Angle, the rear of the slide is rotated 10 or 15 degrees forward to raise the bottom of the grip higher, which aids in concealing the grip of the weapon.
Which Cant Angle Should I Choose?
0 and 10 will work if you’re planning on wearing your weapon in the 3 o’clock position (on the side of your hip). If you are planning on wearing your weapon toward the 3:30 to 4:30 position on the back side of your hip, 10 or 15 degrees of Cant Angle will work best.
Note: If you are planning on using a weapon-mounted light or red dot optic, 0 or 10 degrees of Cant Angle will work best, depending on the weapon and setup. If you are not sure what will work best for your application, please email or call and we will help with your choice.
